Gloucester Rugby Community Charity has proudly been nominated as the charity of choice for local successful event, Beginner to Winner.

Beginner to Winner are hosting their 21st White Collar Boxing event at Cheltenham Town Hall on 31st August 2019.

Clark Thompson from Beginner to Winner said the reason they chose the Gloucester Rugby Community Charity was down to ‘…the ambition and vision of the charity…’

“The work the charity does in the local community to provide sporting opportunities for people of all abilities, ethnicities, ages and backgrounds really changes people’s lives. I am particularly passionate about helping disadvantaged youths in the local area, which is one of the main focuses of the charity too, so it was an easy choice to make.”

The event will comprise of rugby players from the Gloucestershire County registering to take part in 12 weeks of free training worth £400 at Primal Boxing Academy, (perfect for pre-season!) leading up to a glamorous event where they can box in front of all of their friends and family – all in aid of the Gloucester Rugby Community Charity.

Spaces are limited for the event, so pre-registration is encouraged via the Beginner to Winner Facebook page.

The registration evening will be taking place at Kingsholm Stadium on Friday 31st May 2019 at 7pm.
