Over the next month, local companies and organisations will be joining forces with the charity to help raise money that will help support the work that the Gloucester Rugby Community Charity do across Gloucestershire.
And we are calling on the local businesses across the county to embark on our fundraising challenge across the next month.
So far, some great local businesses and organisations have got on board to support, and they will be starting their fundraising efforts for their own great causes.
Each group has set out to raise £1,000 over the course of the next month, all monies raised will be put back into our community projects run across the county including our Women and Girl’s rugby programme, Gloucester Wheelchair Rugby team, Mixed Ability Rugby, Walking Rugby and our various exciting Educational programmes.
The Gloucester Rugby Community Charity uses sport to enhance people’s lives with a particular focus on those with social and other disadvantages. In close collaboration with Gloucester Rugby, the charity is a force for positive change for the citizens of Gloucestershire and beyond, reaching people at key times in their lives to make a positive impact.
Funded through donations, sponsorship and fundraising, the Charity provides opportunities for organisations and individuals to fulfil their community, charity and volunteering objectives’.
